kynamatrix Research Network: Innovation through Collaboration
kynamatrix is a network of researchers dedicated to the understanding and advancement of interactive communication, accelerating innovation in design, engineering, and computer science.
We operate two programs which work together toward achieving our mission of solving real-world problems.
Program 1: Research
We are advancing innovation in four applied areas: communication: making technology more transparent and bringing people closer together; energy: collaboration in the renewable energy sector; transportation: alternative solutions to moving people and things; and public safety: innovative solutions to make the world a safer place.
Combining all four areas, we are researching, designing, and documenting a scalable, emergency urban environment plan by creating a fractal-like recursive algorithm. Because millions of people can be left homeless when disaster strikes, we are developing the plans to handle from 1,000 to 100,000 people per instance.
Program 2: Grant Gifting
Encouraging collaboration and the study of interactive communication across the academic disciplines of design, engineering, and computer science.
Grants are by invitation only and are available to 501(c)(3) organizations and universities.
Annually, we award support grants to innovative collaborative projects that align with our mission.

To scientifically research interactive communication through the investigation of alternative paradigms and through collaborative innovation.
Name
Pronounced kin-uh-mey'-triks, a combination of "kyna" meaning "intelligent; kinetic" and "matrix" meaning "array".

Exemption
kynamatrix is exempt from Federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Contributions
Financial donations to kynamatrix are deductible under section 170 of the Code. The organization is also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers, or gifts under section 2055, 2106, or 2522 of the Code. kynamatrix Research Network is a volunteer-operated organization, and a silver-level GuideStar participant, demonstrating its commitment to transparency.
